We are a one stop shop, script to screen, production company. Our team is comprised of talented creatives with backgrounds as diverse as our work (see below). We each bring a unique perspective to each and every project and together we provide the perfect balance of form, function, champagne and caviar and beer and burgers. We keep you on message, looking good, we ensure that your audience is entertained and that they connect with you.
We'd love to tell your story and we'd love to share ours, read on.
Anthony Istrico has an agency background with an entrepreneurial history. Nearly ten
years of filming, editing and production experience, along with a driven
and zealous personality, have given him a true edge in the industry.
Always the anxious child, Anthony just can’t sit still and he is always
on the move. His ability to quickly refine a message and swiftly create a
compelling story is something he’s been perfecting for years. While
behind the camera, Anthony is always envisioning the final product,
which makes his shooting style unique, effective and creative. His
talents and energy are unique and infectious, which is evident from the
long list of devoted clients he has accumulated over the years. If not
at the studio or on location, Anthony is probably busy shopping on
Amazon, dining out at the best new restaurants in town with his lovely
wife Heather, or planning his next world adventure.
Nora Kubach came to Istrico Productions from the agency world, so naturally she has a deep affinity for process, lengthy meetings and time sheets. Luckily, prior to her agency life, Nora was in NYC training as an actor and working in the theater world. It’s this influence and passion that makes her such a talented creative. She has an eye for clean design and a special way of delivering a client’s message that is not only pointed, but also entertaining and moving. Nora can find or create compelling stories where no one else sees them. Nora’s energy and excitement is evident in all that she does. When not working, she can likely be found at any theater, gallery or park, exploring her surroundings and simply enjoying life.
Jared Groneman brings a highly technical background to the team. As an IT professional in his past life, J$ was (and still is) an inquisitive problem solver. But passion eventually won over practical ability, and to the benefit of Istrico Productions he left NY and the IT world to move to DC in pursuit of something he loves: being creative. An avid cinephile, not a day or even a minute goes by without some movie reference that only Nora gets. Although Jared still handles a good portion of Istrico’s technical production, he is an amazingly talented cameraman/photographer and a highly creative editor. J$ has been working to streamline every process and although each production is wildly different, through his systematic approach every production is also wildly effective. J$ can always be found behind his Canon, or watching a sci-fi flick, or running away from hoards of confused David Duchovny fans.
Patrick Groneman joins us to balance out our chi, he is the yin to our yang, our moment of zen in an otherwise un-zen world. Patrick is one of the few people who chose this path from the start, his educational background is actually visual arts. Not only does this mean he is living his dream, but it also means that Anthony can no longer say “nobody goes to school for this.” Patrick’s eye for design is evident in all that he does, his approach is calculated, unique and often inspiring. Patrick recently returned from Ireland where he became one with nature and stoked his creative fire. This explains his affinity for Irish oats, his slow pace and the mud on his jeans. When not developing concepts and storyboards, Patrick is behind the camera and at the computer creating the digital version of the canvas that is his mind.
Leslie Datsis joins us from Mississippi, by way of Baltimore, perhaps in an attempt to add a city edge to her Southern charm. Coming to us with a degree in theater (just like Nora), Leslie doesn’t necessarily describe herself as a “theater buff” but she sure does enjoy it. She does, however, consider herself a TV buff, fitting for her chosen field. When not deconstructing sitcoms you can find her (with her countless thousands of other fans) on her YouTube page; she is a long-time blogger and curator of several well-received and acclaimed vlogs. We are very excited for Leslie to add her wit and knowledge to our brand and client work. She’ll be editing projects, managing projects, talking theater with Nora and judging the rest of the gang (as she should).
Following his dream, Camaron Stevenson discovered us and pinched himself. He moved to DC while finishing his degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Arizona State University. Camaron loves to create, roll up his sleeves and get funky. Fueled by his passion for our craft and the artistic vision that he brings to it, Camaron is always ready to create. When he doesn’t have a camera in his hand, he probably has one of his adorable little children held high. We are anxious for the kids to come to office so Anthony can feel tall. As a new DC resident, he spends weekends exploring all that the city has to offer, and being that he reigns from Arizona, he surely won’t be complaining about our oppressive summer heat.
Moosie finds her inner peace by chasing staff around the office, and likes a hands on approach. When not dealing with complaints, questions about benefits or just providing an adorable ear to listen, Moosie can be found playing tug, chasing (her) tale, slopping water all over the carpet and keeping things pretty lighthearted. A welcome edition to a growing team of creatives, Moosie’s focus (on the ball) keeps us going in the right direction and her energy is truly contagious, although she seems to bring productivity to a halt...
